Cavenue

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what personal data Cavenue collects, why we use it, who processes it for us and the choices you have. Cavenue (cavenue.co) is operated by CACOBEEZ LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA (“we”, “us”). We’re the controller of your personal data.

1. The data we collect

  • Account data: your name, your email address and your password (stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider), how you sign in and your interface language. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
  • Profile data you choose to add: headline, target role, location, an about text, your CV text, work experience, education, skills, languages and certifications.
  • Rehearsal data: the jobs you rehearse for (title, company, link, description and your job searches), your interview settings, transcripts of your spoken or written answers, and the scores, feedback and reports we generate.
  • Voice: during a voice interview, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to our AI provider so it can run the conversation and transcribe it. We don’t record or store the audio; we keep the written transcript.
  • Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep your Stripe customer ID, your purchases, your subscription status and your credit balance.
  • Support messages: whatever you send us when you contact support.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device details and request logs, processed by our hosting providers to deliver and protect the site. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects usage data, such as the pages you view, your device and your approximate location.

2. How we use it

  • To run Cavenue: create your account, prepare an interviewer for your target job, run interviews, produce reports and track your progress (necessary for our contract with you).
  • To handle payments, credits and subscriptions and keep the records the law requires (contract; legal obligation).
  • To send service emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset (contract).
  • To keep Cavenue secure and prevent abuse, for example with usage limits (our legitimate interest in a safe service).
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it, with Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies (consent).
  • To answer your support requests (contract; legitimate interest).

We don’t sell your personal data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use your interviews to train AI models.

3. AI processing

Interviews and reports are produced by AI models from OpenAI and Anthropic. They receive only what each request needs, such as the job details, your profile and your answers, and process it on our behalf.

AI output can be wrong. Scores and feedback are practice guidance only: they aren’t shared with employers and have no legal or similarly significant effect on you.

4. Who processes your data

We use these service providers to run Cavenue:

  • Supabase: database and sign-in (data stored in the Mumbai, India region).
  • Render: website hosting (Frankfurt, Germany), with traffic delivered through Cloudflare.
  • OpenAI: voice interviews and transcription (USA).
  • Anthropic: written interviews, interview evaluation and reports (USA).
  • JSearch (OpenWeb Ninja): job listing search.
  • Stripe: payments (USA).
  • Resend: sign-up and account emails (USA).
  • Google: Google Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies), fonts loaded from Google Fonts, Google sign-in if you use it, and our support mailbox.

When you paste a LinkedIn job link, our server fetches that public job page; we don’t send your personal data to LinkedIn. We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to a buyer if Cavenue is sold, in which case this policy keeps protecting it.

5. International transfers

Your data is stored in India and processed in the United States and the European Union by the providers above. For transfers from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we use providers that offer the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account, profile and rehearsal data: for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its data within 30 days.
  • Payment records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require; Stripe keeps its own records too.
  • Analytics data: kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months.
  • Backups and logs: overwritten in our providers’ normal cycles.

7. Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile at any time. Depending on where you live, you can also ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict some processing, or withdraw consent. Our GDPR page explains these rights. To make a request, email support@cavenue.co from the address linked to your account.

8. Cookies and local storage

We don’t use advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets its cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Cavenue also keeps what it needs in your browser’s local storage: your sign-in session, your interface language, your interview preferences and your cookie choice. The payment form, provided by Stripe, uses its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls and database rules that let each account reach only its own data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we’ll inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Children

Cavenue isn’t meant for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

We’ll post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email or in the app.
